Retro Martini Party – February 19, 2016

The 2016 Palm Springs Preservation Foundation Retro Martini Party fundraiser at the Maurice and Dinah (Shore) Smith Residence was considered "the" party of Modernism Week by many of the attendees. Designed by architect Donald Wexler in 1964, the event checked all the boxes: timeless architecture, perfect ambience and great company. Many partygoers took the opportunity to show off their absolute best midcentury attire and were treated to a special commemorative video of Dinah Shore's career. PSPF's "swag bag" included a special four-pack of colorful swizzle sticks and PSPF's popular Donald Wexler: Architect tribute journal.
