The "Grand" Canyon View Estates Tour

Tuesday, February 17, 2015

The "Grand" Canyon View Estates house tour showcased 10 midcentury "lifestyle" condominium units designed by the architectural firm of Palmer & Krisel in 1962. Viewing inside the architecture allowed tourgoers the opportunity to see how deftly the architects' double-gable roof lines bring mountain views and abundant natural light into the interiors. Tourgoers received a collectible tour map and a copy of PSPF's 36-page tribute journal The Architecture of Desert Leisure. A portion of the proceeds funded grants to participating Canyon View Estates homeowners associations. The tour was generously sponsored by Paul Kaplan modern real estate GROUP.
